Virginia Atlantic Regional Center, located in Virginia Beach, Va., was designated as an EB-5 Regional Center by USCIS in November 2013. Virginia Atlantic Regional Center offers investment opportunities to foreigners wishing to obtain permanent residency through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. The Virginia Atlantic Regional Center is the first EB-5 Regional Center in the state of Virginia. The regional center has selected a team of skilled professionals, with a wealth of experience in their fields of responsibility, to assist potential investors. The regional center meticulously identifies and locates potential projects and businesses for their investors. Virginia Atlantic Regional Center primarily focuses on commercial real estate projects and is also seeking to expand into the industrial and manufacturing sectors. The regional center also performs thorough due diligence on every project/business that is submitted to them in order to ensure that they will meet the requirements of the EB-5 program. The regional center also has a dedicated EB-5 team that is responsible for tracking EB-5 policy updates and providing compliance guidance to the regional center and immigrant investors. Dr. Fraidoon Hovaizi is the regional director of the Middle East for the Virginia Atlantic Regional Center. As director, Dr. Hovaizi is responsible for leading the marketing efforts of the regional center throughout the Middle East region.

Dr. Hovaizi began his career by teaching economics for seven years. He then went on to work on small medium enterprises at the World Bank. During his time there, he participated in privatization programs and traveled to countries of former Soviet Union to provide training. In 2005, Dr. Hovaizi opened up his own private financial firm.
