What happens to pending I-829s if an EB-5 regional center is terminated?

Our limited partnership is okay, the jobs were created, and the business runs well, but the EB-5 regional center might get terminated. What will happen to the pending I-829 petitions? Does USCIS automatically deny any pending I-829s when the regional center is terminated?

They likely will be denied. You should conduct due diligence of a project and a regional center before investing. If it is discovered there has been fraud, you should contact an attorney to sue to recover funds.

You will need to know the reasons for termination, was there fraud, etc. If you entered in good faith, invested the funds, and created the jobs, you have a good argument to receive your benefit.

It is indeed possible that the pending I-829s may be denied, and a new investment would be required. EB-5 investments are always at risk, and that includes risk of regional center termination.

It's a disaster. They haven't thought it through. You have to choose very carefully.
