What costs are involved with obtaining an EB-5 immigrant investors visa?

I know about the $500,000 to $1 million capital investment requirement. However, how much do the fees typically total for an applicant going through the EB-5 visa process?

Legal fees will vary depending on the law firm and its experience. Regional centers typically charge $40,000 - $50,000.00 for their administrative fees. The USCIS I-526 filing fee is $1500.

The I-526 Petition filing fee is $1,500. Visa Issue Fees at the Consular Stage are currently $220 per applicant. If an investor is lawfully present in the U.S. at the time of I-526 Petition Approval, he or she may choose to adjust status in which case the filing and biometric fees are $1,070 per applicant ($635 if under 14 and filing with parents). Physical Examinations are required in either case and these vary but typically cost between $200-250 per applicant. Legal fees and disbursements will also apply as agreed with the investor''s attorney.

Most EB-5 investors budget for $40,000 to $50,000 in addition to the capital investment amount to cover investor broker, regional center, and lawyer fees.
