How does the UK investor visa determine the age of a child?

Our youngest daughter just turned four. We understand that UK investor visa allows us to include any children between the ages of 5 and 18. What would the process be if we want to start the application now?

The UK Investor Visa allows for any children under the age of 18 to be a dependant. Therefore, you would be able to include your child and provide her birth certificate as evidence of relationship.

Thank you for your question. Please note that under the UK investor visa (Tier 1), you can bring in all dependants. Your four-year-old child is a qualified dependant, so you can start your application process now.

Your information is not correct as a child can be added as a dependant as soon as they are born.

Thank you for your email. There is no minimum age for a child to apply as the Dependant of a Tier 1 Investor migrant. However, there is an upper age as a child can only apply to enter the Dependant category if they are under the age of 18 at the date of their application.

Thank you for your enquiry. When applying for an investor visa, you can include dependants including your partner and any children who are under 18.

A child is any person under the age of 18. There is no minimum age limit. As a four-year-old, she counts as a child.
