Once citizenship is granted under the Cypriot Investment Program, how can I maintain it?

I expect to apply in early 2018 and hopefully will soon have citizenship in Cyprus. Once I obtain it, what do I need to do to keep it?

In order to maintain your Cyprus Citizenship, which was granted by Cyprus Citizenship by Investment, you must maintain an investment for 3 years and maintain a residential property for life. Council of Ministers has the right to review the applications of any investor at any time they consider it necessary.

The applicant can maintain his Cyprus passport given that he keeps his investment for the period of 3 years and, when the 3 years expires, he has to maintain a residential property of a minimum value €500.000 for a lifetime. There is no residency requirement.

Once obtained, Cyprus citizenship can be passed on by descent. In order to maintain it, you need to hold the EUR 2 million investment for a period of 3 years and an EUR 500.000 residential property for life.
