How long does it typically take for I-526 petitions to be adjudicated by the USCIS?

Immigration AttorneysUSCIS processing times are fluid. At the May 2012 EB-5 stakeholders meeting, the Service noted that their target processing time for I-526 petitions is 4 months. However, it is currently taking 6-8 months to received a decision and it is unclear when processing times will decrease.

Immigration AttorneysUnfortunately, nobody knows least of all USCIS. I''ve seen I-526 petitions approved in as little as two weeks and know that there are some petitions that have been sitting there at the California Service Center for far longer than a year.
