You can align yourselves with a regional center, create your own or seek direct investment banking. We shall be happy to consult with you.

Most investors nowadays are from China. So, you should consult Chinese EB-5 attorneys for details (face to face) or contact Chinese migration agents.

We would suggest that you retain an experienced immigration attorney who may be able to refer you to an intermediary who has access to investors for a small EB-5 raise such as yours.

Some U.S. immigration firms that specialize in EB-5, like ours, have worked with different sources of EB-5 investors. What we can also offer is a review of the documentation you have already provided to get it in a position of EB-5 compliance and marketability to these sources and their investors. Calling a law firm like ours should be one of your first steps.

First, you need to determine how many EB-5 investors you need/want. Is your project in a TEA (Targeted Employment Area)? Is this a regional center project? Direct investment? Second, you will need to do some marketing. You should probably determine which country''s immigrant investor pool you want to target. Immigrant investors from China are by far the largest group of EB-5 petitioners. Some project developers go through immigration agencies in China to help with marketing a project. However, due to the size of your project, this could be challenging for you. You should also keep in mind that these agencies usually charge a pretty hefty commission for finding investors. I regularly get inquiries from Chinese clients about EB-5 projects you can send me your project information. If I think it is a good project that meets EB-5 requirements, I would be happy to forward the information to prospective immigrant investors. You may also want to reach out to EB-5 practitioners in your area.

For such a relatively small capital amount (in EB-5 terms), it may be financially more viable to secure investors not dependent on job creation, permanent resident status, etc. Projects go through great lengths to secure investors, including traveling abroad, working with agents, and intense advertising. Unless you are attempting to raise a large amount, it may end up costing more to find that one (or two) investors.
