What family members are entitled to citizenship along with the principle applicant?

I am researching the Cyprus citizenship-by-investment program for my family’s immigration and would like to know whether the eligibility for citizenship extends beyond my spouse and myself. We have adult children who are dependent and would like to consider giving the opportunity to our parents.

Based on the present Cyprus Investment Passport Program, the main applicant can also add his family in order to apply for the acquisition of a Cyprus Passport (minimum investment amount: €2.000.000 plus VAT if any). Namely, the husband and wife must apply first and as soon as they obtain their Cyprus Citizenship. Children up to the age of 28 can also apply, given that the children can prove that they are still students at any university. The main applicant’s parents can also apply for a Cyprus Passport given that the investment increases to €2.500.000 (€500.000 more).

Along with the Main Applicant, the following dependents may be included: a spouse, minor children (younger than 18 years of age) and adult children up to the age of 28 if they are dependent. Further, the parents of the main applicant may also apply if the purchase of a residential property is worth at least EUR 500.000 + VAT.

Thank you for your query. Please be informed that both spouse and children are automatically dependent to the main applicant and are eligible to obtain the Cyprus Citizenship by Investment as well. Financially dependent children from 18 to 28 years of age are also eligible to obtain the Cyprus Citizenship based on the main applicant. They will have to satisfy the following criteria: they must be in school full-time, pursuing either a bachelor or master degree, must not be employed and must not be married.
