What are the exceptions to the Cyprus citizenship-by-investment program requirement to purchase a residential property worth 500,000 EUR?

I would really like to put all of my money into a business and government bond investments, if possible.

An applicant can invest the minimum investment amount of €2.5 million given that at least €500.000 plus VAT (if any) is invested on a residential property (the €0.5m is included in the €2.5m). The total amount that you may invest in government bonds is €500.000 and the rest can be invested in shares of a Cyprus Company given that such a company employs at least 5 Cypriots or E.U. employees. Therefore, you may invest in government bonds, company shares and residential property (mixed investments) in order to apply for a Cyprus Passport.

There are no exceptions to the requirement of residential property of at least 500.000 EUR. The investment needs to be at least 2 million EUR plus the residential property of at least 500.000 EUR. Governmental bonds are eligible for the investment for the maximum amount of 500.000 EUR.

Unfortunately, the 500.000-euro residential property is a hard condition that needs to be fulfilled in all cases with no exceptions.
