Virginia Atlantic Regional Center, located in Virginia Beach, Va., was designated as an EB-5 Regional Center by USCIS in November 2013. Virginia Atlantic Regional Center offers investment opportunities to foreigners wishing to obtain permanent residency through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. Virginia Atlantic Regional Center is authorized to offer investment opportunities in a variety of fields, including non-residential building construction, other specialty trade contractors, and architectural, engineering and related services. The Virginia Atlantic Regional Center is the first EB-5 Regional Center in the state of Virginia. Dr. Fraidoon Hovaizi is the regional director of the Middle East for the Virginia Atlantic Regional Center. As director, Dr. Hovaizi is responsible for leading the marketing efforts of the regional center throughout the Middle East region.
Dr. Hovaizi began his career by teaching economics for seven years. He then went on to work on small medium enterprises at the World Bank. During his time there, he participated in privatization programs and traveled to countries of former Soviet Union to provide training. In 2005, Dr. Hovaizi opened up his own private financial firm.
