Synergy California Green Hospitality Regional Center is an EB-5 Regional Center that specializes in hospitality projects and operates out of the San Francisco Bay Area. It was founded in 2009 and became a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) designated statewide EB-5 Regional Center in October 2010. Synergy is a limited liability company and allows foreign investors to invest in hospitality projects within the counties of San Luis Obispo, Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Merced, Alameda, Contra Costa, and Sacramento.

President and CEO of Synergy, Simon Jung, has more than 10 years of experience as a financial adviser and specializes in financial planning and asset allocation. He began his career as a financial adviser at Morgan Stanley, where he was one of the top producing brokers. He then became a founding member of Comony Enterprise Inc., a textile importing company, where he developed the company’s marketing strategy, leading to its success. He later obtained his master’s degree in economics and began conducting merger and acquisition research at a boutique consulting firm. Jung later became a founding member of another company, Uniglobe Holdings, where he expanded the company’s services into China and developed a team there.

Executive Vice President of Synergy, Yuan-Sing Chang, had a role in the opening of the Hampton Inn Tropicana in Las Vegas, the Royal Scandinavian Inn in Solvang, Calif., and the Holiday Inn Express in Oakland, Calif. He later became project manager for 168 Development and had a role in the development of a Hilton Garden Inn in Gilroy, Calif. In the past, he worked for BT Commercial as a commercial real estate agent for five years and became one of the top producers in the San Jose office.

William Mui, the Vice President of Synergy, has many years of experience in corporate finance, international trade, business management, and product distribution. He has worked at the San Francisco main office of Bank of America for eight years and spent three of those years in the bank investment securities division. Mui has established two companies for import/export and project finance consulting. Among many other successes in sales, Mui helped a Chinese enterprise obtain a loan of $10 million USD and helped Chu Hai Beer, one of the top five breweries in China, establish a sales network in the United States.
