About Scott Bettridge
Scott Bettridge is an immigration attorney in the Miami, Fla., office of Fox Rothschild LLP. He represents both individual and corporate clients on immigration issues. In addition to focusing on EB-5 visa program cases, he handles issues related to global workforce mobility, such as due diligence considerations. Attorney Bettridge’s corporate clients include major international organizations in a variety of industries, including fashion, media, energy financial services, health care, and more. He assists these clients with immigration services that include EB-5, permanent residence, nonimmigrant visas, and more.
In addition to his corporate work, Attorney Bettridge works with individual clients on citizenship and family-based immigration matters. In the EB-5 sector, he has expertise in I-526 filings, I-485 applications, consular processing matters, I-829 petitions, investor representation, regional center representation, and EB-5 securities issues. On a wider immigration spectrum, his representative work includes: representing individual pro athletes on U.S. visa and citizenship matters; assisting small business owners on registration issues under the E-visa program; implementing an I-9 review and compliance program for a global electrical engineering and electronics company; and more.
Before joining Fox Rothschild, Attorney Bettridge worked as a partner in a national law firm’s Miami office. He graduated from John Marshall Law School with his Juris Doctor and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is an active member in good standing with the Georgia State Bar, an active member of AILA, and an allied member of IIUSA. He was previously a coordinator for the New York Chapter Law Symposium and is a past member of the University of Miami Citizens Board. Attorney Bettridge’s honors include being listed as recommended for labor and employment immigration in The Legal 500 (2014-15).
