Reid Thomas served as the Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director of JTC Americas. He was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Specialty Financial Administration business unit. JTC Americas, formerly NES Financial, is the North American division of JTC Group, a multi-jurisdictional provider of fund, corporate and private client services.
JTC Group acquired NES Financial in 2020, positioning JTC Americas as the leading provider of third-party administrative solutions to US impact investment sectors, including the Opportunity Zones initiative and the EB-5 program, as well as to private equity fund managers and 1031 exchange participants.
Reid Thomas played an instrumental role in the rapid growth of JTC Americas’ EB-5 business, with the company recognized for providing innovative solutions built specifically for the EB-5 industry. The company’s escrow administration solutions have been engaged by over 450 EB-5 projects. In 2018, Thomas received IIUSA’s “Industry Game Changer” award for his visionary work in the EB-5 space. He frequently speaks at EB-5 conferences and events across the United States. He is also the author of numerous blogs, articles, and white papers on the topics of fund administration and escrow.
Thomas possesses more than 20 years of marketing and sales leadership experience in both private and public companies. Prior to joining JTC Americas, he served as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Laszlo Systems, which specializes in Rich Internet Applications. His previous experience also includes leading sales operations at Sylantro Systems, VINA Technologies, and Octel Communications. Thomas graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
