Maria Kannava is both an advocate and founding partner of Kannava, Kitromilidou & Co. LLC (KPK Legal). Her areas of focus include corporate law, banking law, probate law (specifically the administration of estates), civil litigation, family law and intellectual property. As a company, KPK Legal advises clients (individuals and corporate) on all aspects of immigration processes, including citizenship applications, immigration permits, permanent resident permits, employment permits and more.
Kannava began her career in legal practice at Andreas Neocleous & Co LLC. There, she was an advocate for the firm’s departments of litigation and intellectual property. Next, she served as a legal consultant and claims executive at Elias Marine Consultants Ltd. After that, she worked for 3 years with Costantinos M. Hadjipieras at his law firm. There, she worked as an advocate in various litigation matters.
Kannava is actively part of the Cyprus Bar Association, authorized to practice as an Insolvency Practitioner (IP). Kannava studied in England, earning her Bachelor of Laws degree with Honors at the University of Warwick followed by her Master of Laws degree in commercial law from the University of Bristol.
