Lazaros Omirou is an immigration attorney and managing partner with Omirou & Omirou LLC law firm in Pafos, Cyprus. Omirou’s main areas of practice include immigration, corporate, commercial, real estate, tourism, and aviation law. He also advises clients on banking, international investments, wills, and trusts.
Omirou, who was born in Limasol, graduated from high school with a Distinction Grade and joined the National Guard of Cyprus for two years. After his service in the army, Omirou moved to Athens, Greece to study law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 2005.
Omirou became a member of the Cyprus Bar Association, and, in 2006, he joined the family law firm founded by his father, Andreas Omirou, and uncle, Yiannakis Omirou, in 1975.
Omirou is a member of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cyprus- Jordan Business Association. He’s a past member of the Municipal Council of Paphos and past president of the Foreign Relations Committee. Omirou speaks Greek and English.
